A treatment room at J'adoreFACIAL COSMETOLOGY
Skeyndor is a Spanish professional cosmetics brand with over 50 years of tradition, whose in-salon protocols combine the effectiveness of active ingredients with the pleasure of a ritual. This isn't "one treatment" — it's four separate lines, each addressing a different skin need: tired eye area, first signs of ageing, sensitive and vascular skin, or dehydration.
The common thread: zero needles, zero healing time, and a visible result right after you leave the salon. At J'adore Instytut, an experienced cosmetologist selects and performs the treatment. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.
a series of 4–6 sessions every 1–2 weeks, then maintenance
How it works
Skeyndor treatments are a professional in-salon protocol — a multi-step treatment for the face, neck and décolletage, based on professional Skeyndor products at concentrations not available in home care. The cosmetologist cleanses your skin, prepares it, applies active ingredients chosen for your concern, performs a massage and finishes with a mask and protection. It works on several levels at once: it nourishes, hydrates, smooths and restores balance to the skin.
This is an alternative to invasive procedures — no needles, no aggressive exfoliation, no healing time. The brand's philosophy is that the best skincare gives a visible result while also being an enjoyable, restorative experience. That's why the facial massage is the heart of every protocol, not an add-on.

Four Skeyndor lines
Skeyndor isn't one treatment — it's four separate lines. Each targets a different concern, which is why the first step is always a skin analysis, not "picking from a menu":
Skeyndor treatments work well at any age — from your twenties, when you're building a habit of preventive care, through to mature skin that needs deep regeneration. There's also a gentle variant for teenagers (acne-prone skin, blackheads, oiliness) — carefully selected by a cosmetologist.
Women's zone and men's zone
Women choose Skeyndor for the result and for the experience itself — it's a ritual just for you, with fragrance, massage and a sense of luxury. Skeyndor treatments for women most often target the eye area, hydration and the first signs of ageing.
The areas we support
Men's skin is thicker and more oily, yet still prone to dehydration — from shaving, wind and pollution. The most common reason for a visit is a tired, puffy look. Skeyndor treatments for men are mainly Global Eyecon and the hydrating protocols — discreet, with no "did something" effect.
The areas we support
Fun fact: the Skeyndor brand has existed since the early 1970s — over half a century of developing in-salon protocols. That's why its lines are so specialised: instead of one "cream for everything", you get a separate programme for the eyes, for retinol, for sensitive skin and for hydration.
Safety
"Luxury skincare" sounds harmless, but the result and safety depend on things worth asking about at any salon:
Professional Skeyndor protocols (especially Power Retinol and eye-area work) require knowledge of skin and contraindications. At J'adore, they're performed by an experienced cosmetologist, not someone after a quick course.
We use only genuine Skeyndor products from professional distribution. Counterfeit or poorly stored cosmetics lead to unpredictable results and a risk of irritation — especially with retinol and sensitive skin.
There's no one "Skeyndor treatment for everyone". The cosmetologist selects the line and variant after analysing your skin — which is why a consultation is a foundation, not a formality.
Red flag: a suspiciously cheap "luxury treatment" · A bargain price for a branded protocol is a common warning sign — it may mean non-genuine products, skipped steps, or someone without proper qualifications. Also watch out for promises like "results like Botox" or "we'll turn back the years" — a cosmetology treatment genuinely improves skin condition, but it doesn't replace aesthetic medicine. You have the right to ask which line was chosen, who performs the treatment, and what the protocol involves. A good salon will answer without hesitation.
Contraindications
Skeyndor is among the gentlest treatments we offer, but even here some contraindications are permanent and some are temporary — in which case we simply postpone your visit until the situation resolves.
From the cosmetologist's chair
The most commonly overlooked issue with retinol is pregnancy and breastfeeding — Power Retinol is off the table then, but we can happily suggest the hydrating Uniqcure or the soothing Hydrasensitiv instead. The second thing is cold sores: even "just on the lip" is a reason to postpone the treatment by a few days.
This isn't an exhaustive list — we'll go through your medications, skin conditions and previous treatments individually during your consultation.

The visit
The whole treatment usually takes around an hour of calm, multi-sensory ritual. You leave with no marks and refreshed, "rested" skin — you can go straight back to your daily activities.

Consultation & skin assessment
the cosmetologist evaluates your skin's condition and your expectations, selects a protocol (Global Eyecon, Power Retinol, Hydrasensitiv or Uniqcure), and rules out contraindications.

Makeup removal and cleansing
gentle, multi-step cleansing with Skeyndor products, matched to your skin type.

Toning and preparation
balancing your skin's pH and preparing it to absorb active ingredients.

Application of active products
depending on the protocol: peptide serum, retinol concentrate, hydrating ampoules, or a specialist eye cream.
Massage of the face, neck and décolletage
techniques matched to the line (relaxing, lymphatic drainage or lifting). This is a moment of genuine relaxation — the heart of every Skeyndor protocol.
Mask and finish
a mask matched to your skin's needs, a finishing cream and SPF protection; followed by home care recommendations.
What to expect
Most importantly: the first result is visible immediately — your skin is hydrated, smoothed and radiant right after the treatment. The effect builds over the following days and, for established concerns (dark circles, wrinkles, reactivity), only fully develops over a complete series.
Some clients ask after one visit whether "that's it". A single treatment does a beautiful job "for now" — but deep dark circles, established wrinkles or skin reactivity need a series. A one-off Skeyndor treatment is great before an event; we plan lasting change over 4–6 visits.
Portfolio

A record of results — in preparation. We publish photographs of our clients only with their consent.
The result doesn't "disappear overnight" — it simply fades gradually if you don't maintain it with further treatments and home care. That's why your cosmetologist recommends Skeyndor products to use between visits.
Skeyndor and your lifestyle
Skeyndor is a non-invasive treatment, so there are few restrictions — but after an exfoliating or retinol protocol, your skin is more sensitive to sun and irritation for a few days. The rule is simple: treat your skin gently in the first few days.
Your skin is "fed" after the treatment — let it breathe. Makeup on the same day isn't forbidden, but it's better to apply it the next day, on clean skin.
After a retinol or exfoliating protocol, your skin is more sensitive to sun. Avoid sunbeds and intense sun exposure for a few days — and apply SPF 50+ daily, regardless of the weather.
High temperatures intensify redness and increase the reactivity of freshly "awakened" skin. Skip the sauna, hammam and very hot baths for a day or two.
Chlorinated water can irritate skin right after the treatment, especially if your skin is sensitive. It's best to wait a day or two.
Don't apply aggressive peels or acids to your skin after the treatment — it's already had an intensive dose of active ingredients. Return to them after a few days.
If your in-salon protocol included retinol, pause home retinol for a few days to avoid overloading your skin. Your cosmetologist will advise when to resume.
Skeyndor
These treatments are often confused with each other because they all "do something good for the skin". In fact, they do different things and often complement one another:
removes impurities and dead skin cells
won't deeply nourish or address a tired eye area
cleanses and infuses serum in one step
less ritual and massage than Skeyndor protocols — a different kind of visit
nourishes and cares for a specific concern
won't replace aesthetic medicine for deep bags or established wrinkles
Combine with
Skeyndor rounds off and calms your skin beautifully after more intensive treatments, and fits well within a broader care plan alongside other protocols. Your cosmetologist decides on the order and spacing during your consultation, but the general logic stays the same:
The most common question: "Skeyndor or HydraFacial?" It's not an "either/or" choice. HydraFacial cleanses and hydrates "from zero" brilliantly, while Skeyndor is a more targeted, ritual-based protocol for a specific concern — eye area, retinol, sensitive skin. I often recommend alternating them within one care plan.
Lines and variants
Under the heading "Skeyndor treatment" you'll find separate lines, each with a different active formula and a different goal. You don't choose "off the shelf" — your cosmetologist selects the line and variant based on your skin's actual condition, its sensitivity, and your treatment history.
A specialised protocol for the eye area — peptides, draining ingredients and a vitamin complex, with lymphatic massage and improved absorption.
Dla kogoDark circles, puffiness, under-eye bags, fine lines and eyelid laxity.
A rejuvenating protocol with retinol combined with hyaluronic acid — rebuilding and smoothing while minimising the risk of irritation.
Dla kogoAnti-ageing, first and established wrinkles, a safe entry into retinol.
A treatment for sensitive, reactive skin — soothes, reduces redness and strengthens the skin barrier instead of provoking it.
Dla kogoVascular, reactive skin, prone to rosacea and irritation.
An intensive hydrating treatment with a botanical bio-extract — restores comfort, elasticity and radiance to dehydrated skin.
Dla kogoSkin dehydrated after a season change, stress, air conditioning or a drying treatment.
A gentle programme for young skin — deep cleansing, sebum normalisation, reduction of inflammation and hydration, without aggressive peels.
Dla kogoTeenagers: teenage acne, blackheads, oiliness (carefully selected).
Fact: Where do the differences between the lines come from? From different active formulas (peptides vs retinol vs soothing vs hydrating ingredients), from the goal (eyes, ageing, reactivity, hydration), and from the massage technique matched to the protocol. That's why you shouldn't compare them "price to price" — what matters is whether the protocol addresses your skin's real concern. Your cosmetologist determines this after analysing your skin.
