A treatment room at J'adoreFACIAL COSMETOLOGY
Grey, tired-looking skin that "nothing brightens"? Skin that stings and flushes at the slightest trigger?
Fine lines and loss of radiance that no cream seems to mask anymore? ProXN (Pro Xn) is a signature antioxidant therapy by ONmacabin — built around xanthohumol (Xantohumol), one of the strongest plant-derived antioxidants known in cosmetology. Rather than a single "cure-all" treatment, it's a graded system (grade I, II, III, plus a separate acne protocol) that your cosmetologist selects based on your skin's actual condition. The goal is simple: neutralise the oxidative stress that drives ageing and irritation, and give your skin back its calm, smoothness and radiance. This is a cosmetology treatment and non-invasive — no needles involved. At J'adore Instytut, it's performed by an experienced cosmetologist. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.
usually 4–6 sessions every 1–2 weeks, followed by maintenance sessions
How it works
ProXN is an antioxidant therapy by ONmacabin. At its heart is xanthohumol (Xantohumol) — an antioxidant derived from hops, one of the strongest known in cosmetology. Its role is to neutralise free radicals and oxidative stress: these are what "wear down" skin from within, driving ageing, greyness and chronic redness.
In practice the treatment combines carefully sequenced steps: cleansing, an active antioxidant serum or concentrate, a massage that helps the ingredients penetrate the epidermis, and a soothing or brightening mask chosen for your specific concern. Your skin ends up calmer, better oxygenated and more hydrated — with no aggression and no compromise to the skin barrier. This isn't an abrasive peel — it's about repair and protection.

ProXN is a cosmetology treatment and non-invasive — it works at the level of the epidermis and skin barrier, with no needles and no injections. This is why there's no real downtime and the experience stays gentle.
Ideal for
Women's and men's needs
The most common goal is radiance, an even skin tone and calmer redness — all while staying gentle. We often combine ProXN with brightening care and eye-area treatments, planning the series around a specific moment (a wedding, the holidays, or bouncing back after winter). This is the classic ProXN for women.
The areas we support
Men's skin tends to be thicker, oilier and often irritated by shaving — hence the focus on calming post-shave redness and controlling excess sebum, without any "cosmetic" finish. The goal: healthier, less red, less tired-looking skin. This is ProXN for men.
The areas we support
Did you know: xanthohumol comes from hops — the same plant that gives beer its flavour. In cosmetology, however, a purified, concentrated form is used, with a very high antioxidant potential — many times stronger as a "shield" against free radicals than common antioxidants.
Safety
With antioxidant therapy, results and safety depend on a few things worth asking about at any salon:
ProXN is a cosmetology treatment — at J'adore it's carried out by an experienced cosmetologist, who first performs a skin assessment, and only then chooses the grade and protocol. This isn't a treatment picked blindly "off a menu".
We work exclusively with original ONmacabin (ProXN) products from authorised distribution. Antioxidants are sensitive to light and air — freshness and proper storage of the product matter.
There isn't just one "ProXN treatment". The grade (I/II/III) and variant (e.g. acne, brightening) are chosen by your cosmetologist to match your skin's condition — which is why the consultation is a starting point, not a formality.
Red flag: a suspiciously cheap "ProXN treatment" · A bargain price can be a sign that you're getting a non-genuine or expired product, that the skin assessment is being skipped, or that the person performing it isn't properly trained. "Miracle" promises ("your broken capillaries will vanish after one session", "we'll reverse your wrinkles") are another warning sign. You have every right to ask about the product brand, the grade of therapy chosen, and who is performing the treatment — a good salon will answer without hesitation.
Contraindications
Some contraindications are permanent, others temporary — in which case we simply postpone the treatment until the situation resolves. Your cosmetologist always makes the final assessment at your consultation.
From the cosmetologist's chair
The most commonly overlooked issue: cold sores. Clients often think, "I only have one on my lip, and the treatment covers my whole face — it shouldn't matter." It does matter — an active virus carries a risk of irritation and spreading. It's better to postpone by a few days and treat healthy, calm skin instead.
This isn't a complete list — we'll go through your skin conditions, allergies, current products and previous treatments individually at your consultation.

The visit

Consultation & skin assessment
your cosmetologist evaluates your skin's condition, its reactivity, level of redness and your expectations, then chooses the therapy grade and protocol.

Cleansing
skin preparation, removing makeup and impurities so the active ingredients can work properly.

Applying the antioxidant concentrate
the heart of the treatment is introducing xanthohumol and the other active ingredients; at the higher grades this is preceded by gentle microneedling to boost absorption.

Massage and mask
the massage helps the ingredients penetrate deeper and is relaxing, while the mask (soothing or brightening) completes the effect and calms the skin.

Finish and aftercare guidance
a barrier-repair cream, SPF protection and skincare tips for the days ahead. No bandages, and usually no visible marks.
What to expect
The key point: ProXN is a therapy, not a one-off "fix". After a single session, your skin is noticeably fresher, better hydrated and calmer — but real change in tone, smoothness and resilience builds up over a series, session by session.
I sometimes hear: "I had one session and my skin is still flushing." That's completely normal — antioxidant therapy works cumulatively. Broken capillaries and chronic redness are the result of years of stress on the skin; we calm them with a series, not a single visit. A single ProXN session works well as a "reset before going out", but for lasting change we work over a cycle.
Portfolio

A record of results — in preparation. We publish photographs of our clients only with their consent.
Results last longer the better your home skincare and sun protection are. ProXN "rebuilds" the skin's antioxidant shield, but daily SPF and antioxidants are what help keep that shield in place.
ProXN and your lifestyle
ProXN doesn't require "hiding at home", but for the first hours and days after the treatment your skin stays more sensitive — and that's exactly when we protect it from factors that could irritate it again or weaken the antioxidant effect.
After the gentler grade, makeup is fine the same day, but your skin benefits from "breathing" until the evening. After the grades with microneedling — wait until the next day, once your skin has settled.
This is essential: antioxidant therapy and intense sun exposure don't mix. Avoid tanning and sunbeds, and use SPF 50+ every day — without it, UV exposure will simply "burn off" part of the effect.
High temperatures dilate blood vessels and increase redness — especially relevant for vascular skin. It's best to wait 1–2 days before a sauna or hammam.
Chlorine irritates calmed skin. After the more intensive grades with microneedling, skip the pool until your skin has fully recovered.
We hold off on strong peels, acids and facial brushes — using them right after the treatment would disrupt freshly calmed skin barrier. You can return to them after a few days.
Retinol is active and can irritate skin after the treatment. It's best to pause for a few days to a week and return once your skin has settled; your cosmetologist will set the exact window.
