FACIAL COSMETOLOGY

Tone, contour, radiance
“waking the skin”

The facial contour stops looking defined, the skin looks tired and "dropped", and after a sleepless night swelling and a grey tone follow — these are typical signs that the skin has lost its bounce, and circulation and drainage have slowed down. Ergolift — facial LPG endermology (Endermolift) — is a non-invasive, needle-free method that mechanically "wakes up" the skin: gentle rollers and controlled vacuum suction lift and mobilise the tissue, stimulating collagen production, improving microcirculation and lymphatic drainage.

The result is smoother skin, more radiance and a clearer contour — no needles, no pain, no downtime. At J'adore Instytut, the treatment is performed by an experienced cosmetologist with LPG certification. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.

  • Loss of firmness and elasticity
  • Sagging contour and cheeks
  • Expression lines and fine lines
  • Grey, fatigued skin
  • Swelling and a "puffy" face

How it works

How it works

Ergolift is facial endermology — a mechanostimulation method developed by the French company LPG Systems. A special applicator combines two elements: gentle, rotating rollers that create a precise skin fold, and controlled vacuum suction that lifts the tissue between the rollers. The skin is mechanically "woken up" — no needles, no electrical current.

This stimulus triggers three processes at once: it stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin (hence firmness and elasticity), it improves microcirculation (hence a healthy tone and radiance), and it supports lymphatic drainage (hence less swelling and a lighter, "de-puffed" face). This is a cosmetology treatment, and we approach it as such — it works on skin quality and condition, not on facial muscles.

Three layers in cross-section: the facial skin at the surface, the superficial fascia beneath it, and deepest of all the facial muscles together with the SMAS layer. Rollers with vacuum form a fold of skin and mechanically work the layer beneath it. The skin is not punctured — all of the work is mechanical.

  2. Superficial fasciathe network we release first
  3. Facial muscles and SMASthe layer that holds the facial contour

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Loss of firmness and elasticityskin feels "less taut", loses density.
  2. Sagging contour and cheeksblurred jawline, first signs of "dropping".
  3. Expression lines and fine lineswhen you want to improve overall skin condition, not "switch off" a muscle.
  4. Grey, fatigued skinlacking radiance, "lifeless", especially after stress and lack of sleep.
  5. Swelling and a "puffy" facemorning swelling, lymphatic stagnation, heavy eyelids (drainage).
  6. Preventionfrom around age 30, to maintain firmness and slow down "sagging".
  7. Skin preparationbefore other treatments or as part of an anti-ageing programme.
  8. Anyone who avoids needleswanting a lifting effect without injections and without downtime.

The female zone and the male zone

What's different

For her

Why women choose facial endermology

The most common goal is a clearer contour, "de-puffing" and natural radiance — a rested face, not a "done" one. Women's skin can be thinner and more prone to swelling, so we place strong emphasis on drainage and gentle firming. This is classic facial endermology for women.

The areas we support

  1. lifting the contour and cheeks, blurred jawline;
  2. drainage — morning swelling, "puffy" eyes, heavy eyelids;
  3. brightening grey, fatigued skin and smoothing fine lines;
  4. prevention and maintaining firmness, a fresh look "for an event".
For him

Why men choose facial endermology

Men's skin is thicker and has richer blood supply, and is more often exposed to stress and lack of sleep — hence a different way of working with the applicator and greater focus on drainage and "recovering freshness". The goal: a well-groomed, rested look without the "salon effect" — this is facial endermology for men.

The areas we support

  1. a fresher, less tired look after stress and working "flat out";
  2. drainage and reduced swelling, a lighter, more defined face;
  3. skin firming and improved contour around the jawline;
  4. zero needles and zero downtime — a meeting an hour after your visit is no problem.

Fun fact: the same LPG technology that contours the body and breaks down cellulite works on the face with a smaller applicator — except here the goal isn't "breaking down fat", but gently stimulating the skin to produce collagen and improving drainage.

Safety

What really determines the result

Facial endermology has a strong safety profile, but the result depends on three things worth asking about at any salon:

  1. Who performs it

    Experience and skill matter — at J'adore, the treatment is carried out by a cosmetologist certified in LPG, who assesses your skin and selects the programme and direction of the applicator's movement (drainage "towards the lymph nodes", lifting "upwards").

  2. Whether the device is genuine

    We work with genuine LPG equipment, with up-to-date software and regular servicing. A "vacuum lift" on an unbranded, counterfeit device brings unpredictable results and a risk of irritation or bruising.

  3. Whether it's a series, or a "one-off miracle"

    A lasting effect is built through a series — a single session refreshes, but a promise of "a permanent lift after just one session" is simply dishonest.

Red flag: suspiciously cheap "LPG lift" · A very low price is a common warning sign. Ask directly: is this genuine LPG equipment, does the practitioner hold a certificate, and is a realistic series plan being proposed? Steer clear of promises like "we'll turn back 10 years in one session" or "the effect of threads without needles, forever" — endermology improves skin condition, it doesn't replace aesthetic medicine.

Contraindications

When to postpone the treatment

Some contraindications are permanent, others are temporary — in the latter case, we simply postpone the treatment until the situation passes.

We don't perform it
  • Pregnancy and breastfeedingin case of doubt, this is decided during consultation.
  • Active herpes (cold sores) or skin infectionin the treatment area — we postpone until healed; an active virus is a risk regardless of the method, even without needles.
  • Active inflammation and skin lesionsin the treatment area (breakouts, eczema, open wounds).
  • Active canceror ongoing cancer treatment.
  • Active thrombosis / phlebitisand serious clotting disorders.
  • Recent treatmentsin the area (e.g. recent fillers, threads, strong laser or peel) — these require a waiting period and a specialist's decision.
  • Very pronounced, fragile broken capillaries / telangiectasiawe adjust the suction carefully or advise against it in that area.
  • Fever and general infectionwe wait until you've recovered.

From the cosmetologist's chair

The most commonly forgotten issue is cold sores and fresh broken capillaries. People think "it's just a device massage". True — but an active virus or very fragile capillaries are reason enough to postpone by a few days or choose a gentler programme. Better safe than sorry.

This isn't a complete list — we'll go through your medications, health conditions, previous treatments and capillary condition individually during consultation.

The visit

What to expect during your visit

  1. Ergolift (facial endermology) — treatment at J'adore Instytut — Consultation & skin assessment

    Consultation & skin assessment

    the cosmetologist assesses firmness, contour, tendency to swell and your expectations, and rules out contraindications. This is where we agree on a realistic plan: a single "event-ready" session or a full series.

  2. Ergolift (facial endermology) — treatment at J'adore Instytut — Preparation

    Preparation

    the skin is cleansed; for facial endermology, we usually don't use a body suit (that's part of body treatments) — we work directly on the skin with a suitable slip cream.

  3. Ergolift (facial endermology) — treatment at J'adore Instytut — Applicator work

    Applicator work

    the specialist moves a small applicator over your cheeks, contour, neck and around the eyes. The rollers and vacuum suction give a feeling of gentle "suction" and a deep, pleasant massage — no pain.

  4. Ergolift (facial endermology) — treatment at J'adore Instytut — Finishing and guidance

    Finishing and guidance

    no bandages, and usually no visible marks. Occasionally, temporary redness appears.

  5. Plan for the following sessions

    we agree the series schedule and any combination with other treatments.

What to expect

No surprises

Most importantly: this isn't a "one-off miracle". After the first session, the face looks refreshed, "de-puffed" and radiant — but lasting firmness and improved contour build up through the series, as the skin produces new collagen.

  1. Faza 1.right afterface refreshed, "de-puffed", mild redness fades within several dozen minutes
  2. Faza 2.a few sessionsmore noticeable radiance, better tone and less swelling
  3. Faza 3.full seriesnoticeable firmness and improved contour — the effect builds up
  4. Faza 4.after the seriesmaintaining the result with sessions every few weeks
After the first session, I often hear "I look great, but will it last?". It's a natural question — a single session works "for freshness", and we build a lasting effect through the series. That's why we plan 6–8 sessions from the start, rather than counting on just one.

What's normal right after the treatment

  • mild, temporary redness — a result of stimulated circulation, usually fading within a few to several dozen minutes;
  • a feeling of warmth and "massaged" skin, sometimes mild tingling;
  • in those prone to delicate capillaries — rarely, subtle, short-lived bruising with stronger vacuum suction.

The result isn't "forever" — it's not threads or a filler. Skin gradually returns to its own rhythm, which is why after the series we recommend maintenance sessions every 2–4 weeks, which keep firmness and radiance going.

Facial endermology and your lifestyle

What you can do, and when

This is a "zero downtime" treatment — you go straight back to your day. However, a few things are worth spacing out so as not to irritate freshly stimulated skin or hinder drainage.

  1. Make-up

    same day

    You can apply make-up the same day after facial endermology. Ideally, give your skin a few hours to "breathe", but there's no strict ban — this treatment doesn't interrupt your day.

  2. Sun and SPF

    common sense + SPF 50+

    Avoid intense sun exposure and sunbeds right after the series — stimulated circulation leaves the skin more "warmed up". Daily SPF 50+ is a must with any anti-ageing programme anyway.

  3. Sauna and hot baths

    skip for a few hours

    High temperatures dilate blood vessels further and intensify redness. It's best to leave the sauna, hammam or a hot bath for later the same day, or the day after.

  4. Swimming pool

    skip that day

    Chlorinated water can irritate freshly stimulated skin. Plan a swim for a different day than your treatment.

  5. Home peels and acids

    1–2 days' break

    Strong peels, acids and cleansing brushes should wait 1–2 days — skin is stimulated after the treatment, and we don't want to irritate it further.

  6. Retinol

    take a break around the treatment

    Retinol can be irritating — it's worth pausing it on the day of the treatment and the day after, then resuming once the skin has calmed down. If in doubt, ask your cosmetologist about your routine.

Frequently asked questions

  1. QuestionDoes facial endermology really work without needles?
    AnswerYes, but differently to a medical treatment. It's mechanical stimulation of the skin — boosting circulation, drainage and collagen production. It gives drainage, radiance and a gradual improvement in firmness and contour. It doesn't replace threads or fillers, but for many people, that's exactly the natural effect they're after.
  2. QuestionWhen will I see results?
    AnswerRefreshing and "de-puffing" is often visible after just the first session. Lasting firmness and improved contour build up through the series — usually noticeable after a few sessions, and most complete after a full series of 6–8 sessions.
  3. QuestionHow long does the result last?
    AnswerThis isn't a "forever" result — skin gradually returns to its own rhythm. That's why after the series we recommend maintenance sessions every 2–4 weeks, which keep firmness and radiance going.
  4. QuestionHow many sessions are needed?
    AnswerStandard is a series of 6–8 sessions, usually 1–2 times a week. A single session works well as a "refresh for an event", but for a lasting effect, we work through a full series.
