MEDICAL PEELS

Radiance and tightening
“no needles, no peel”

For many people, "33% TCA peel" brings to mind red, burnt-looking skin and a week of peeling. PRX-T33 turns that association on its head: it's a biorevitalising peel based on TCA, and its defining feature is that there are no needles and no frosting.

We don't inject the product or leave it on the skin to peel — we massage it into the skin. The hydrogen peroxide in the formula lets TCA penetrate deeper and stimulate skin renewal, while no typical flaking appears on the surface. Your skin gets the same impulse as a strong peel would give, but you leave the salon glowing and firm — often ready for an appointment the same day. This isn't "needle-free mesotherapy" that solves everything in one go, nor a magic "lift from a bottle" — it's a carefully considered treatment that works best as a series. At J'adore Instytut, it's performed by an experienced cosmetologist. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit: does it work, does it sting, will you peel and for how long, when results appear, how many sessions you need, and why SPF isn't a suggestion but part of the treatment.

How it works

How it works

PRX-T33 (brand WiQo) is a biorevitalising peel based on TCA — trichloroacetic acid at a 33% concentration — combined with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and kojic acid. Classic TCA at this concentration usually means visible peeling and so-called frosting (whitening of the epidermis) for several days. Here it's different: hydrogen peroxide "buffers" the acid's action on the surface, allowing TCA to work deeper, in the dermis, while calming the flaking effect on the epidermis.

The second defining feature of PRX-T33 is no needles and a specific application method: we don't inject the product or leave it to peel off — we massage it into the skin in successive layers. This massaging action activates penetration and stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. This is why it's sometimes called "biorevitalisation without needles" or "peel without needles" — an effect similar to mesotherapy, but without injections and without downtime. The kojic acid in the formula also brightens and evens out skin tone.

This is a beauty treatment — at J'adore, it's performed by an experienced cosmetologist. The word "medical", which sometimes appears alongside peels, describes the class and strength of the product, not that it's performed by a doctor.

Three levels of skin in cross-section: the epidermis at the surface, the upper dermis beneath it, and deepest of all the further reaches of the dermis. Trichloroacetic acid with hydrogen peroxide passes through the epidermis without exfoliating it and works lower down. The cosmetologist sets the strength of the protocol and the number of layers during the consultation.
  1. Epidermisthe layer the acid passes through
  2. Upper dermisthe level where remodelling starts
  3. Deeper dermisdeeper than this peel reaches

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Grey, tired, dull skin without radiancewhen your skin "has no light" and makeup seems to sit on top of it. PRX-T33 restores radiance almost immediately.
  2. Early signs of laxity after age 30loss of firmness and density; TCA stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen.
  3. Fine lines and foldscollagen stimulation smooths lines "from within", rather than masking them on the surface.
  4. Shallow acne scars and uneven textureimproved texture; kojic acid also brightens post-acne hyperpigmentation.
  5. Stretch marks — improved textureparticularly fresher, red or purple marks; the effect is more modest on white, old stretch marks, and it's worth combining with microneedling.
  6. Skin on the hands, neck and décolletageareas that reveal age faster than the face; PRX-T33 hydrates, firms and brightens.
  7. Skin that needs renewal "without downtime"when you can't afford several days of visible peeling.
  8. Sensitive and vascular skinusually well tolerated; for very reactive skin, we start with fewer layers.
  9. Glow before an eventa wedding, a photoshoot, an important meeting; instant radiance.

The female zone and the male zone

What's different

For her

PRX-T33 and female skin — why it works so well

For women, the most common goal is radiance, firmness and even skin tone without disrupting daily life — a "lunch break" peel after which you can go straight back to work and apply makeup. This is the classic PRX-T33 for women, often performed not only on the face but also on the neck, décolletage, hands or stretch marks.

The areas we support

  1. grey, tired skin and loss of radiance;
  2. early signs of laxity, fine lines;
  3. stretch marks (fresher ones), ageing skin on the hands, neck and décolletage;
  4. glow before an event, and skin preparation before a holiday or wedding.
For him

Thicker skin, different ageing — why PRX-T33 works differently in men

Male skin is thicker, more prone to oiliness, and slower to regenerate — which is exactly why it responds more intensely to collagen stimulation. This is PRX-T33 for men: it works deep, and doesn't give away that "something was done" once you leave the salon.

The areas we support

  1. oily skin, enlarged pores, uneven tone;
  2. acne scars and uneven texture — gradual remodelling;
  3. photoageing and hyperpigmentation after years without an SPF habit;
  4. early wrinkles and loss of firmness after 35; zero downtime before a meeting.

Good to know: this is the same TCA acid that, in a classic peel, leaves white "frosting" on the skin and takes a week to peel off. In PRX-T33, hydrogen peroxide and massaging change the way the acid works — deeper, but calmer on the surface. The same substance, an entirely different level of comfort and a different healing process.

Safety

What really determines the result

With TCA peels, results and safety depend on several factors worth asking about at any salon:

  1. Who performs it, and whether there was a consultation

    The peel is matched to your skin phototype, skin condition and history — including recent sun exposure, home acids, retinoids or isotretinoin. At J'adore, this is done by an experienced cosmetologist after a skin assessment, never as a default.

  2. Whether the product is genuine

    We use only genuine PRX-T33 (WiQo) sourced legally. A non-genuine or poorly stored peel means unpredictable concentration and a real risk of irritation or burns.

  3. What protocol and how many layers

    The number of layers and massaging time are tailored by your cosmetologist to your skin's reaction — "stronger" doesn't mean "better". With reactive skin, we start more cautiously and observe the response.

  4. Whether there's an SPF plan

    After a peel, skin is more sensitive to the sun, and kojic acid further increases UV sensitivity — daily SPF 50+ isn't a suggestion, it's part of the treatment.

Warning signs with peels ·

  • a peel with no consultation and no questions about skin phototype or recent sun exposure;
  • no clear instruction about SPF 50+ after the treatment ("nothing to worry about");
  • the argument that "stronger = better" instead of matching the number of layers to your skin;
  • a non-genuine / "substitute" product, or no mention of the manufacturer's name (WiQo);
  • a series sold with no plan — no set number of sessions or intervals;
  • a peel performed in full summer sun, with no protection and no discussion of the risk of hyperpigmentation.

Contraindications

When to postpone the treatment

Some contraindications are permanent, others temporary — in that case, we simply postpone the treatment until the situation passes.

We don't perform it
  • Active herpes (cold sores)chemical peels are a recognised trigger for reactivating the herpes virus. If there's an active lesion (even outside the treatment area), we postpone until it's healed. If cold sores recur frequently, it's worth discussing antiviral prevention before the series.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeedingassessed individually, usually not recommended.
  • Recent sun exposure and a fresh tanin the treatment area — a high risk of hyperpigmentation; we wait until the tan has faded.
  • Oral retinoids / isotretinoinduring treatment and for a set period afterwards (at least a few weeks; usually several months with isotretinoin).
  • Active inflammation, skin infections and irritationin the treatment area.
  • Rosacea in an active phaseincreased redness and visible capillaries.
  • Allergy to TCA, hydrogen peroxide, kojic acidor other ingredients in the product.
  • A tendency to form keloid scars
  • Recent, aggressive treatments(strong laser, deep peel) in the same area — we keep an appropriate interval.

From a cosmetologist's chair

Two things clients most often "overlook": cold sores and a recent tan. "It's just a small blister on my lip" or "I was in the sun a week ago, but it's already faded" — these are real reasons to postpone the treatment by a few days. It's better to wait than to risk a flare-up of cold sores or hyperpigmentation.

This isn't a complete list — we'll go through your medications, skin conditions and previous treatments individually at consultation.

What to expect

What to expect during your visit

The whole visit takes a matter of dozens of minutes — hence the term "lunchtime peel". The process is calm and consistent:

  1. Faza 1.degreasingmakeup removal, cleansing and thorough degreasing of the skin with a pH-balancing product — this isn't a formality, it determines even absorption
  2. Faza 2.applicationPRX-T33 is massaged into the skin in successive layers (usually several); you'll feel tingling and mild warmth — a sign that the TCA is working
  3. Faza 3.removalafter a controlled exposure time, the product is rinsed off with water — with no neutralisation step, unlike a classic TCA peel
  4. Faza 4.mask + SPFsoothing hydration, a barrier cream and SPF 50+; you leave without bandages, usually with no visible marks
The most common question in the chair: "will it sting?". Tingling and warmth during massaging are part of the treatment — that's the TCA working. The intensity is noticeably lower than with a classic TCA peel, and numbing cream isn't needed. If the reaction is stronger, we reduce the number of layers — that's what a specialist is there for.

What to expect

No surprises

The most important thing to know: PRX-T33 isn't a peel that makes your skin "come off". For most people, there's no visible peeling in flakes and no frosting. Radiance and a feeling of firmness appear straight away — sometimes visible even before you leave the salon — while deeper improvement builds over the following days and with each subsequent session.

What's normal right after the treatment

  • redness and a feeling of warmth — usually fading within a few hours;
  • mild tightness in the skin for the first 24 hours;
  • in some people, very mild, minor flaking after 24–48 hours (minimal or barely visible) — others notice none at all;
  • immediate radiance and a "refreshed", firm feeling to the skin.
  1. immediatelyradiance, firmness, "refreshed" skin; makeup can be applied the same day
  2. 24–48 hourspossible minimal, minor flaking (often not visible) and fading redness
  3. 7–14 daysstimulated collagen is at work — skin is firmer, denser and more even
  4. after a series of 4–6noticeable improvement in firmness, density and radiance, fewer visible fine lines, even skin tone

From a cosmetologist's chair

Some clients say, after a single session: "nice glow, but where's the big change?". This is exactly the point of PRX-T33 — a single session gives instant glow and firmness, but the series is what remodels the skin. This is an advantage, not a drawback: instead of one strong "strip" of the epidermis, you get several gentle impulses that fibroblasts turn into new collagen.

After the treatment, skin is more sensitive to the sun — that's why SPF 50+ is required for the following days, and we pause strong home acids and retinol for around a week.

PRX-T33 and your lifestyle

What and when

With peels, most questions aren't about the treatment itself, but about what comes after: sun, makeup, sauna, home acids, training, a planned trip. There's one rule — for the first few days, we don't want to overheat, irritate or expose freshly renewed skin to the sun.

  1. Sun and SPF

    SPF 50+ required

    This is the most important point with PRX-T33. For at least a few days, avoid intense sun and sunbeds, and apply SPF 50+ daily — even in cloudy weather. Kojic acid increases UV sensitivity, so skipping sunscreen is the quickest route to hyperpigmentation.

  2. Makeup and daily life

    same day

    With no visible peeling, you can apply makeup the same day or the next, and go straight back to work. It's best to reach for gentle, hydrating products.

  3. Sauna, swimming pool, hot bath

    24–48 hours' break

    High temperatures and chlorinated water irritate freshly renewed skin. Put off the sauna, swimming pool and very hot baths for 1–2 days.

  4. Retinol and home acids

    pause for around 7 days

    Pause retinol, strong AHA/BHA acids and mechanical exfoliation for around a week. Your skin has already had a solid impulse — adding more would over-irritate it.

  5. Sport and sweat

    wait a day

    Intense training and heavy sweating right after the treatment can increase redness. Gentle movement is fine; leave strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours.

  6. Holidays and sunbeds

    plan ahead

    PRX-T33 can be done year-round — but travelling into full sun or using a sunbed right after the treatment risks hyperpigmentation. Planning a holiday? Mention it at consultation — we'll time the series so your skin has had a chance to settle.

Frequently asked questions

  1. QuestionHow does PRX-T33 work without flaking, if it's 33% TCA?
    AnswerThis comes down to the formula and the way it's applied. Hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) "buffers" the acid's action on the surface of the epidermis, and the product isn't injected or left to peel off — it's massaged into the skin instead. TCA then penetrates deeper and stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen — without the typical frosting and without peeling in flakes.
  2. QuestionWill I peel after PRX-T33, and for how long?
    AnswerFor most people, there's no visible peeling in flakes. Some people notice very mild, minor flaking after 24–48 hours (often not visible), while others don't notice any at all. After the treatment, skin is above all radiant, firm and "refreshed".
  3. QuestionDoes the treatment hurt or sting?
    AnswerWhile the product is being massaged in, you'll feel tingling and mild warmth — a sign that the TCA is working. The intensity is noticeably lower than with classic TCA peels, and numbing cream isn't needed. This usually lasts a few minutes per layer.
  4. QuestionWhen will I see results?
    AnswerRadiance and firmness are visible straight away — sometimes even before you leave the salon. The collagen effect (denser, firmer, more even skin) builds over 1–2 weeks and is consolidated by the series. A single session is a great "glow for an event", but the series is what delivers genuine remodelling.
