Men's pedicure for men

This is your treatment — and there's nothing to explain

This is a fully male-focused variant. A man's foot usually has thicker skin, larger calluses and stronger nails, and the main goal is comfort, not styling. Hence the emphasis on thorough treatment and smoothing, most often without colour. This is the classic men's pedicure.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Athletes — runners, footballers, gym-goers, cyclists: heavy load on the feet, calluses, risk of blisters and "black" nails from footwear.
  • Standing work and lots of walking — waiters, sales staff, construction workers, couriers: by the end of the day, feet "burn" and heels crack.
  • Dry, rough heel skin — especially in summer (flip-flops) and winter (dry, heated air).
  • Thickened skin and calluses on the sole or toes.
  • Nails that are hard to cut — thick, fast-growing plates that need even trimming.
  • Before sandal season, a trip or an important event — quickly getting your feet in order.
  • Anyone who simply wants to look after their feet — no colour, discreet, from time to time.

The areas we work on

  1. trimming and evenly shaping strong nails;
  2. softening and removing hardened skin, smoothing calluses and heels;
  3. optionally a clear hybrid — invisible, adds shine and strengthens the nail;
  4. the Japanese variant (athletes) — natural care without polish, for people who train intensively.

This is your treatment — and there's nothing to explain

Men's pedicure is the only service in the foot-care category designed from the start with men in mind: how your foot works, how much skin has thickened, what your nails look like, and what you expect. No colour, no salon fuss, nothing unnecessary — just thorough care for the feet you use every day.

Why men's feet need a different approach

A man's foot typically has thicker skin and more pronounced calluses — a natural response to heavier load. Standing work, training, long-distance running, work boots: by the end of the day, the effects show on the heels and soles. The stylist works with tools and pressure that genuinely remove that thickened skin — not a gentle once-over.

For men, whatever your lifestyle

  • Runners and athletes — calluses, black nails from footwear, risk of blisters. The Japanese variant (natural care, no polish) or the classic without colour: nothing is left on the nail, and the foot is ready for the next season.
  • Standing work — waiters, construction workers, couriers, sales staff: feet burn by the end of the day, heels crack. Regular visits shorten callus regrowth time and protect against wounds.
  • Dry skin and rough heels — flip-flops in summer, dry air in winter. Urea cream after your visit is homework that genuinely extends the result.
  • Nails that are hard to cut — thick, fast-growing plates need precise tools. You cut them roughly at home — the stylist does it properly, without risking ingrowth.
  • Anyone who simply wants to be looked after — every few weeks, no colour, no fuss. Result: well-groomed, not done-up.

Clear hybrid — invisible, but it works

If your nails are brittle or fragile, or you want your feet to look fresh for longer, the clear hybrid is the answer. It gives a light, natural shine, strengthens the nail, and doesn't look like polish. On the beach, in sandals, in the changing room — no one will spot anything salon-like. It lasts until the nail naturally grows out.

Regularity beats one-off rescue jobs

The most common approach: "I'll come in when it's really bad." That costs more time and effort than short visits every few weeks. A foot we look after consistently barely develops calluses — the skin doesn't get the chance to build up to the point where the treatment takes twice as long. We advise athletes to plan a visit a few days before competition, not the day before — freshly treated skin needs a moment to settle into the shoe.

Frequently asked questions

Will it be obvious that I've had a pedicure?
Not with the no-colour option. The result is smooth, well-groomed feet and even, short nails. The clear hybrid gives a subtle shine, but it doesn't look like polish either. No one in the changing room or on the beach will tell the difference from simply well-cared-for feet.
Can I train right after my visit?
Yes, with no downtime at all. You put your shoes on and leave. One tip: for your first long run after the treatment, choose broken-in, trusted footwear — freshly smoothed skin is briefly a bit more sensitive to new pressure points.
I run marathons and have black nails — will a pedicure help?
It will treat the rest of the foot, trim the nails evenly and take care of the skin. If a black nail is painful, detached, or looks concerning, we'll refer you to a podologist first. This is common among runners, and it's better to have it dealt with properly rather than treated by force.
I have an ingrown nail — will you do a pedicure?
If the ingrowth is active or painful, we refer you to a podologist, who will fit a packing or brace. A standard pedicure can take care of the rest of the foot, but we don't treat the ingrowth itself, as that can make the problem worse. Simple rule: pain means a podologist; well-groomed feet mean a pedicure.
Which variant should I choose for a first visit?
We usually start with the classic, colour-free option. The stylist assesses your feet on the spot and suggests whether it's worth adding the clear hybrid (if your nails are brittle) or choosing the Japanese variant (if you train intensively). You don't need to decide in advance.
